Public Hearings: Reapportionment/Redistricting Plans for District One

The members of the City Council of the City of Phenix City, Alabama will conduct public hearings throughout Phenix City to receive input from citizens on the proposed reapportionment/redistricting plans.
As a result of the 2020 decennial census, the City is required to redraw voting district lines as required by the City Charter (Section 7.03) and Code of Alabama (§11-43A-97).
These hearings are intended to be forums for receiving public input on proposed redistricting plans. Comments are solicited and may be submitted in writing at the hearings.
Any person unable to attend the hearing(s) may submit a written statement to the City Manager’s Office at the following address:
