2018 National Night Out

Tuesday, August 7, 2018, neighborhoods throughout Phenix City are invited to join 38.3 million people in over 16 thousand communities from all 50 states, U.S. territories, Canadian cities, and military bases worldwide. National Night Out is nationally sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch (NATW) and is co-sponsored locally by the Phenix City Police Department.

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, better places to live. Together, we are making that happen.

From 6 to 8 p.m. EDT, citizens throughout Phenix City are invited to visit the police precincts and meet our police officers. This year, the two locations are at the Phenix City Police Department’s precincts. From these areas, neighbors are invited to come and spend the evening meeting officer and neighbors. Our citizens are encouraged to meet and discuss crime prevention and community-police involvement in our city. The Phenix City Police Department and other area public safety officials will join in and help make this a safe and great night.
