The City Clerk’s Office has records of the names of those buried in Girard Cemetery and Pine Grove Cemetery for review. If you or someone you know are interested in genealogy or are in search of your ancestors, the following plat books are here for review:
Resources at the Library
The Phenix City-Russell County Library has an extraordinary genealogy resource, Ancestry.com, that is free to all library patrons. In order to use the service, you will need to obtain a library card, if you haven’t already, and access the site from within the library. See the library staff for additional details.
