As the new year begins, the elected officials of Phenix City and Russell County will be gathering for a luncheon – not to discuss business, but to become better acquainted with one another.
The luncheon was the idea of Councilmember Arthur Day, Mayor Pro-Tem, of Phenix City. Councilmember Day thought one of the ingredients needed to build better working relationships among all the elected officials was taking the time to know each other on a personal level.
