Public Notice: Public Hearing to Discuss Use of JAG Grant Funds on September 4, 2019

Notice is hereby given that the Phenix City Police Department has made application to the Bureau of Justice for a Justice Assistance Grant for the proposed purpose of purchasing equipment for the Police Department.

The City of Phenix City does solicit input from the public on the use of the funds. A public hearing on the matter will be conducted during the regularly scheduled council meeting set for 9 a.m., Eastern Time, on Wednesday, September 4, 2019, in the Council Chambers of the Public Safety Building, located at 1111 Broad Street, Phenix City, Alabama. Those wishing to comment on the matter may appear before council at the aforementioned time and place to be heard.
