The City of Phenix City is closely monitoring the Coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19) and will be evaluating information as updates become available. The city has initiated several preventative measures.
Concerning Parks & Recreation Department, effective immediately, all recreation centers will be temporarily closed, and all spring sports and activities will be postponed until further notice. This time period will be constantly evaluated as to whether it can be shortened or extended.
In addition, our citizens should use discretion when using the city parks, playgrounds, and outdoor facilities. Certain outdoor facilities will remain available for casual use with no group activities allowed.
