Phenix City Council met for a Work Session at 3 p.m. EDT, on Monday, May 4, 2020 via the teleconference platform Zoom. June Board Appointments.
Mayor and Council reviewed the May 19, 2020 Council Agenda.
City Attorney reviewed claims with Mayor/Council.
Mayor Lowe advised that the 2020 Mayor’s Ball has been cancelled due to COVID-19. He further advised scholarships will be given to students on August 6, 2020.
Water and Sewer Warrant savings was discussed.
COVID-19 impact on the city’s revenue was discussed.
Changes to the Parks and Recreation’s Summer Camp program was discussed.
Construction on 14th Street will being on May 26, 2020.
