BID: Riverchase Drive at US Hwy 80 Turn lane Improvements @ 10 a.m. (Rescheduled from 11/16/2016)

Sealed bids for the construction of Riverchase Drive at US Highway 80 Turn Lane Improvements shall be received by the Purchasing Agent at the City of Phenix City Finance Department, 601 12th Street, Second Floor, Phenix City, Alabama 36867, until 9:45 a.m., Eastern Time, on Wednesday, December 14, 2016, and then publicly opened and read aloud in the Phenix City Council Chambers. No bids shall be accepted after this time.

The project will consist of earthwork, drainage, pavement widening, curb and gutter, guardrail, overlay and striping. Plans and specifications can be viewed at the City Engineer’s Office, located at 1206 7th Avenue, Second Floor, Phenix City, Alabama 36867. The bid package may be obtained by emailing your request to Matt Stoops, P.E.

All bidders must be licensed by the State of Alabama Licensing Board of General Contractors, as required by Chapter 8 of Title 34 of the Code of Alabama 1975, as amended.

All bids must be submitted on bid forms furnished and must be in a sealed envelope clearly marked “Riverchase Drive Turn Lane Improvements.” A bid bond is required. The City of Phenix City reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding process. No bid may be withdrawn after the time opening has passed. The City of Phenix City reserves the right to hold the bids for a period of 60 days after of receiving bids until notice of award.

A Pre-Bid Conference is not required for this project.
