The elected officials of Phenix City and Russell County will be gathering for a luncheon, not to discuss business, but to become better acquainted with one another.
The luncheon was the idea of Councilmember Arthur Day, Mayor Pro-Tem of Phenix City. Councilmember Day thought one of the ingredients needed to build better working relationships among all the elected officials was taking the time to know each other on a personal level.
