Phenix City Council met for a Work Session at 3 p.m. EDT, on Monday, July 6, 2020 via the teleconference platform Zoom. The media and public were encouraged to watch online by visiting the website calendar and selecting the meeting date. After the event, the recording will be posted to the city’s YouTube page.
Mayor Lowe called the meeting to order.

The June 23, 2020 Planning Commission Meeting.
July and August, 2020 upcoming calendar events.
Questions from Council to Department Heads on various city projects.
Mayor and Council reviewed the July 7, 2020 Council Agenda.
City Manager Wallace B. Hunter and Council spoke on the legacy of Gail Green-Gilliam.
Mayor Lowe stated that he will announce the qualification dates at the July 7, 2020 Council Meeting.
