On August 13, 2021 in a Proclamation, Governor Ivey declared the existence of a state public health emergency in the State of Alabama based on the disease known as Covid-19.
On October 8, 2021 in a Proclamation, Governor Ivey extended the public health emergency through 11:59 p.m. on Sunday October 31, 2021.
Beginning on November 1, 2021, The City of Phenix City will hold the remainder of the 2021 Work Sessions and 2021 Council Meetings in person at the Martin-Idle Hour Park Community Center located at 3743 Moon Lake Drive, Phenix City, Alabama, unless otherwise notified.
Due to the possible spread of Coronavirus, everyone is encouraged to use caution while attending the meetings. A facemask or other facial covering is required. However, as an alternative, you can watch by live stream on the city’s YouTube Channel.
