Notice is hereby given that the Phenix City Police Department has made application to the Bureau of Justice for a Coronavirus Emergency Supplemental Funding Program FY 2020 Grant for the proposed purpose to prevent, prepare for, and respond to the Coronavirus for the Police Department.
The City pf Phenix City does solicit input from the public on the use of the funds. A public hearing on the matter will be conducted during the regularly scheduled council meeting set for 9 a.m., Eastern Time, on Tuesday, May 5, 2020 in the Council Chambers of the Public Safetu Building, located at 1111 BRoad Street, Phenix City, Alabama, or, if needed, via the teleconference platform Zoom. Those wishing to comment on the matter may appear before City Council or by phone via the teleconference platform Zoom at the aforementioned time and place to be heard.
