A contractor working for the City of Phenix City will begin roadway slope maintenance along Sandfort Road between 6th Place and 16th Avenue. The road will be closed to thru traffic beginning Thursday, February 8th, 2024 and will reopen Tuesday February 13th, 2024. A detour and traffic control measures will be in place routing traffic around the construction. During this time, delays should be expected, and travel times adjusted accordingly.
