A contractor working for the City of Phenix City will begin repair and replacement of a storm sewer pipe crossing South Railroad Street just southeast of the J.R. Allen Parkway overpass. The road will be closed to thru traffic beginning Wednesday, May 6th, 2020 for 1 to 2 weeks. A detour and traffic control measures will be in place routing traffic around the construction. During this time, delays should be expected, and travel times adjusted accordingly. Thank you for your cooperation.
