Opelika Road & Cutrate Road Closures
The City of Phenix City and Russell County have a joint project to replace the bridges at the intersection of Opelika Road and Cutrate Road crossing Mill Creek. Due to the construction associated with this project, Opelika Road and Cutrate Road will be closed for approximately nine (9) months. Construction is expected to begin in the next 2 to 3 weeks. A follow-up release will be sent out once a definite day and time for the closure is established. A detour will be in place routing traffic around the construction on Opelika and Cutrate Roads which is shown in the map below. During this time, delays should be expected and travel times adjusted accordingly. Thank you for your cooperation.
