The City of Phenix City is now hiring for CDL driver/operator positions. Applications will be accepted Mon-Fri (8 a.m. – 5 p.m.) at our HR office located at 1103 Broad St. On site interviews and field test will run from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. at the Martin-Idle Hour Community Center every third Thursday of the month beginning September 21st.
Positions available:
Trucks <26,000 lbs. – No CDL Required – $18.59/hour
Trucks/Equipment Requiring CDL B – $20.51/hour
Trucks/Equipment Requiring CDL A – $23.88/hour
Benefits:
- 96 hours vacation and 96 hours sick earned per year
- Health/Dental/Vision benefits – $67.44/month individual (family coverage available for additional costs)
- 25 year retirement at any age or 10 year retirement age 60+
