The City of Phenix City has project to replace the bridge along Seale Road between 6th Place South and Industrial Drive crossing Cochgalechee Creek. Due to the construction associated with this project, Seale Road will be closed for approximately nine (9) months. Construction is expected to begin on Tuesday, September 5, 2023. A detour will be in place routing traffic around the construction on Seale Road which is shown in the attached map. During this time, delays should be expected, and travel times adjusted accordingly. The City of Phenix City has project to replace the bridge along Seale Road between 6th Place South and Industrial Drive crossing Cochgalechee Creek. Due to the construction associated with this project, Seale Road will be closed for approximately nine (9) months. Construction is expected to begin in the next 1 – 2 months. A follow up release will be sent out once a definite day and time for the closure is established. A detour will be in place routing traffic around the construction on Seale Road which is shown in the attached map. During this time, delays should be expected, and travel times adjusted accordingly.
