Phenix City Council met for a Work Session at 3 p.m. EDT, on Monday, June 1, 2020 via the teleconference platform Zoom. The media and public were encouraged to watch online by visiting the website calendar and selecting the meeting date. After the event, the recording will be posted to the city’s YouTube page.
The following items were discussed:
The May 26, 2020 Planning Commission Meeting.
June and July, 2020 upcoming calendar events.
Setting dates for the Budget Work Sessions.
Questions from Council to Department Heads on various city projects.
Mayor and Council reviewed the June 2, 2020 Council Agenda.
An Executive Session was called for Good Name and Character for approximately 30 minutes from which the meeting would adjourn. Councilmember Johnson made the motion, Seconded by Councilmember Bailey. All were in favor.
Council went into Executive Session at 4:26 pm.
Council came out of Executive Session at 5:08 pm.
The meeting adjourned at 5:10 pm.
