On August 13, 2021 in a Proclamation, Governor Ivey declared the existence of a state public health emergency due to the increase of COVID-19 viruses in Alabama that continues to present a serious threat to public health and which requires flexibility and adaptability of our Municipal Government to ensure the safety of our citizens and staff.
Therefore, The City of Phenix City will hold the remainder of the 2021 Work Sessions and 2021 Council Meetings via ZOOM, unless otherwise notified. The media and public are encouraged to watch the live stream on the city’s YouTube Channel.
