Phenix City Fire Stations
Through the years, Phenix City’s need for fire protection increased, and three fire stations were constructed.
- Fire Station 1 was formerly located at 1803 Crawford Road in the central part of Phenix City, and served the community until 1999, when it was relocated across the street to 1910 Crawford Road. Fire Station 2 used to be located in the 900 block of South Railroad Street, but was relocated to better serve the community. This area is now served by Fire Station 1.
- Fire Station 3 was formerly located at 511 Seale Road North to serve the southern part of Phenix City. Station 3 was used until the year 2000, until it was relocated to 510 South Seale Road to better serve the community.
- Fire Station 4, (John L. Newsome), is located in the north part of the city, and was constructed in 1971.
