Ways to Pay
Phenix City Utilities offers FOUR APPROVED ways to pay your bill!
Online
Click on the “Pay Bill” button below and enter the Customer # and Account #, separated by a dash (e.g., 1234-123456), as listed on your bill. This will allow you to quickly make a payment using our streamlined payment option. Please note that this option only allows you to make a payment at this time and does not include the viewing of eBills or other account information.
Click on the “View Bill” button below if you need to view a digital copy of your bill or other account information.
Note: If you choose to pay your bill online, there will be a convenience fee ($2.15 Credit/Debit Card / $2.15 eCheck) charged by the third party vendor who processes these payments. If your services have been disconnected for non-payment of your bill, you must contact our office either by phone or in person to pay all charges due.

In Person
Lobby
The Utilities Lobby accepts payments Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Eastern.
Acceptable Forms of Payment: Cash, Check, Credit / Debit Card, Money Order
Drive Thru
The Utilities Drive Thru, located behind the Municipal Building on 12th Street, accepts payments Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Eastern. Due to traffic flow, the drive thru window does not accept credit / debit card payments.
Acceptable Forms of Payment: Cash, Check, Money Order
Kiosk
The Utilities Payment Kiosk, located in front of the Municipal Building on Broad Street, accepts payments 24/7 using cash, credit card, debit card, or eCheck. You will have the option to print a receipt, or have it sent via email or SMS text. The kiosk does not give change if paying with cash, so the balance remaining after payments are made will be a credit on the account.
Note: If you choose to pay your bill using our 24/7 self-service payment kiosk, there will be a convenience fee ($1.95 Credit/Debit Card / $1.95 eCheck) charged by the third party vendor who processes these payments. If your services have been disconnected for non-payment of your bill, you must contact our office either by phone or in person to pay all charges due.
Night Drop Box
We understand that it’s not always possible to pay your bill during business hours. The Night Drop Box is available to securely drop off your payment after hours. It’s located in the drive thru lane on 12th Street. Envelopes are available to place your payment in.
Note: Payments placed in the drop box must be received by 8 a.m. to be processed the same day. Payments made over the weekend will be processed the next business day. You are strongly advised to avoid paying with cash at the drop box.

Be sure to include a blank voided check or deposit slip for verification. Valid identification must accompany the application.
Note: As per the direction of the Russell County District Attorney, all Alabama checks received must have the customers Alabama Driver’s License number listed on the check. All out of state checks must have either the customers Social Security number or Driver’s License number and their Date of Birth notated on the check.
